ALEX HagemeisterHi! I am Alexandra Hagemeister and I will be attending USC in the fall. Theater has been the biggest part of my high school experience. My first show was the Freshman-Sophomore One Acts and I instantly fell in love with the community here after the first practice. My favorite memory is directing The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. I loved every single second of directing the show and working with every cast member. Theater here has changed my life, and I could not be prouder to be a CHS Thespian.

willa stineActing in the CHS theatre department has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I've made countless memories and friendships with wonderful and talented people who I will never forget. It has been the utmost pleasure to work alongside both my peers and our amazing department heads, Kdubs, DTB, Ellie, and Manny-- I thank you all for your hard work and for the opportunities I was given in this theatre department. I will never forget the flying rehearsals and when I first tried on the red slippers for The Wizard of Oz, the amazing experience of Poe in the park, Jack's nosebleed in Romeo and Juliet and again in Our Town (yes, we all remember), sprinting through the pit in my massive red cape in A Deconstructed Melody, improv-ing with Stuart opening night in The Lightning Thief, and (lest we forget) PERFORMING OUR TOWN IN THE STIFEL THEATRE! I have had the honor of a lifetime performing with this company, and these people, and I will miss this troupe with my whole heart. I love you all, and thank you for everything!

sarah valloGetting over my fear of auditioning for the fall play my freshman year was the best decision I could possibly have made for myself. Being cast in that show opened up the doors to my passion and creative outlet and has led me to be the person that I am today. With the help of my found theatre family, I feel that I have been able to become a better version of myself. Over the last four years, I have been involved in ten shows at CHS and every show has led me to be a more confident, ambitious and positive person. Looking back at my high school career and time with the Thespian Troupe, everything seems to have moved by so fast but I am so lucky that I will have so many fond memories to carry with me for the rest of my life. One of my favorite memories is this past year, when I got to perform with the cast of Our Town at Stifel Theatre. That was easily one of the most surreal and craziest experiences of my life. The thrill of that performance still gives me chills and makes my heart race a little bit. Being a part of this theatre has been one of my favorite things in my life and I can now see that it has helped me come a long way and become the person that I am proud of today, and I will be grateful for the rest of my life.

Wilder May - JuniorMy favorite memory doing Clayton Theater has to be playing Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief. I learned and grew so much from that experience and built relationships I’ll be forever thankful for. I’ll sincerely miss the Clayton Theater community when I move next year and I am so grateful for the experiences and relationships that this theater company has given me.
